Annick Martin (48) started her career as a project manager at an electrical engineering installation company, after which she took on the management of a municipal electricity supplier which was acquired 5 years later by the West Flanders Energy Company (known as WVEM in Dutch).

After a few years in the energy distribution sector, she switched over to energy production. Over the next 10 years she held several management positions at SPE, known subsequently as EDF-Luminus, after which she worked for 4 years as a regional manager at SITA, the waste management division of the SUEZ Group.

Over the past 4 years, Annick was the CEO for the Benelux countries of Schindler, the well-known lift manufacturer. Her passion for operational matters and Van den Berg’s outstanding reputation drove her to choose Van den Berg for the next step in her career.
